
Steve Chang is a Taiwanese editor, writer, and MacDowell Fellow from the San Gabriel Valley, California. His work has been published in Epiphany, Guernica, North American Review, The Southampton Review, etc. and commended by the Granum Foundation, the Iron Horse Prize, the MBF Emerging Writer Fellowship, and even by (some of) his friends. He is thankful for support from the Ragdale Waud Fellowship, Monson Arts, MASS MoCA, Loghaven, Willapa Bay AiR, the KHN Center for the Arts, The Kerouac Project, and the Carolyn Moore Writers House.
He’s the co-founder of writers community Lit Match Collective and fiction editor at Okay Donkey.
In Korea, he did all types of indie music things for almost a decade. Now he does tour things for Damnably bands Say Sue Me and Drinking Boys and Girls Choir. Sometimes he still writes about music.
He created and developed some things for Outlier Society x Amazon Studios and 88Rising x Sony Pictures TV. Now he’s working on two collections of linked fictions you will instantly love. He’s pretty sure.
