
Steve Chang is a Taiwanese writer, editor, and MacDowell Fellow (24, 26) from the San Gabriel Valley, California. His work has been published in Speculative Fiction: A Writer’s Guide and Anthology, Guernica, North American Review, StoryQuarterly, The Southampton Review etc. and supported by fellowships from The Ragdale Foundation, Loghaven, and MASS MoCA as well as residencies from Monson Arts, Willapa Bay AiR, The Carolyn Moore Writers House, The Kerouac Project, and the KHN Center for the Arts. He is a very fun and normal person.
He’s the co-founder of writers community Lit Match Collective and fiction editor at Okay Donkey.
For almost a decade, he did all types of indie music things in South Korea. Now he sometimes does tour things for Damnably bands Say Sue Me and Drinking Boys and Girls Choir.
He’s created and developed projects for Outlier Society x Amazon Studios and 88Rising x Sony Pictures TV and is now at work on two collections of darkly playful linked fictions about criminality and capitalism that you will instantly love. He’s pretty sure.
